Introducing Dr. Randy Walling and his wife Sandy
Dr R.W. Walling & Sandy
Sandy and I want to thank you for considering us for your health care. We consider our practice to be FAMILY oriented. In fact, we raised our kids right here at our office while treating our patients. Over the years we have tried to provide a friendly, home-like enviroment where our patient’s felt comfortable.
As a teenager I was first introduced to chiropractic care after having received an injury while playing football. My mom was a nurse, so I went to our medical doctor for care. After
many weeks of medications and heating pad without relief my mom suddenly remembered that my dad’s uncle was a chiropractor so I decided to go to him. I was scared to death but soon realized that my fear was unfounded. After a careful exam he told me what he thought was wrong and recommended treatment. From that point on it was nothing but relief! After this I was sold on chiropractic and my life was changed forever!
I completed my pre-chiropractic studies in the basic sciences, comparative anatomy, human anatomy and physiology and kinetics, etc. at San Jacinto College in Houston, Texas before starting chiropractic college in 1975. After four years of intensive study and chiropractic internship at Texas Chiropractic College in Pasadena Texas, Sandy and I returned to Arlington to continue a family tradition by taking over a wonderful chiropractic practice started by Sandy’s aunt in 1961.
Our desire is to provide a quality of chiropractic care that promotes our patient’s overall health and well being. Our belief is that chiropractic care is best utilized as a preventative style of care versus a reactive style of care. Therefore we encourage our patient’s to be proactive in preventing health problems rather than waiting until they experience a decline in health. Many of our patient’s do this by coming into our office for monthly preventative care. This care is not just for the older folks either, as we have entire families from infants to grandma coming monthly for preventative care. These families are teaching their children the importanance of taking care of their health and that it is one of life's most important assets.
Sandy and I have been living in Arlington since 1979 and have been active in our church and community ever since. We have raised our two children here; Melissa, a nurse, and Sam, who is pusuing his career as a Tae-Kwan-Doe instructor.
